The less grumbles and time wasted about applications crashing, or unpredictable behaviour may not be a benefit that can be easily shown as an improvement measured in currency, yet is probably the greatest benefit that a well-planned use of technology can provide. For another example, a printer that doesn't jam, or its cartridges are easily available and replaceable makes what other tasks that involve it seem much less daunting.
