This service is aimed at businesses wishing to increase productivity through the improvement of its employees' IT skills, train new employees in essential skills (or ensuring that they have them before their employment begins).
With this service, we aim to achieve the following goals:

- To provide a good base of computer theory that people can build experience on

Practical computing, the first steps and theory
- Controlling windows with the mouse
- File management
- Basic computer security
- Application installation & management
General applications
- Touch-typing
- Office application software (word processing & spreadsheets)
- Internet-related software (web browsers, email, newsgroups, FTP, etc)
- Graphics applications
- Basic website design (learn to write HTML code, and basic graphics skills)
More advanced subjects
- Operating system installation & management
- Computer hardware management
- Managing Internet services
- Database design
- Advanced computer & network security
Pricing structure:
- Single lessons: £25.00
- 5 lessons booked at a time: £110.00
Other information:
The necessary equipment can be provided, or a computer on-site can be used (provided it has some appropriate software installed).
The 'Basic website design' subject is based on teaching how to write web page (HTML) code from scratch, rather than using an editor that does that for you. If you go for singing lessons, you don't expect to be taught how to use karaoke equipment!
Lessons last approximately one hour.
